We have now lived at this beautiful place called St Marys convent for one and a half week. Some of us leaders have soon been here for two weeks. We are nine participants from India and ten from Sweden, and twelve leaders. The school is located between a home for orphan children and two schools, so there’s a lot of noise going on all days. And then we have the traffic outside…."richas", cars, busses and cows. But inside the walls to our garden we have a small oasis, with plants, verandas and a building with a lot of character. You can feel that this has been a convent for nuns, the prayers are in the walls. Wonderful!
Everyone has visited the different churches where we’re going to have our weekly practice. And this weekend we’re going to send the teams. We’ll have four groups that will be sent to Danund, St Andrews, Pimpri and Konduwa. Please pray for this!
In India they eat more rice than in Ecuador (is that posible?) And the food is really spicy. But I think the Swedes are coping very well and so far no one has been really sick. We’ ll see what happens after the first weekend of practice. But we feel very safe with our Indian brothers and sisters, they provides all for us and we feel their warmth and friendliness since the first day.
Please pray for us!
